Alessio Antoniolli

Curator and Cultural Strategist

Alessio Antoniolli is a curator and cultural leader whose work has significantly shaped international artist residencies and cultural exchange over the past three decades. He served as Director of Gasworks in London for more than twenty-five years, transforming it into a leading platform for contemporary art, experimentation, and international dialogue. He also leads the Triangle Network, a global network of artist-centered organizations that supports collaboration and exchange across diverse cultural contexts, with a particular focus on the Global South.

In 2022, Antoniolli was appointed Curator at Fondazione Memmo in Rome, where he commissions new work by international artists. In 2025, he co-founded Cultural Strategies Group (CSG), a consultancy supporting public and private arts organizations through strategic planning, organizational development, and programming. Throughout his career, he has championed long-term partnerships, equitable cultural exchange, and artist-led approaches to international collaboration.
