Badiyeh Arts Exchange Program 01
Exchange Program 01 marked the inaugural edition of the Badiyeh Arts Exchange Program and welcomed Alessio Antoniolli (Curator; Director of Triangle Network; former Director of Gasworks, London) as the program’s first invited participant.
Over the course of two inspiring weeks in New York, the exchange unfolded through a series of carefully structured encounters, including in-depth studio conversations with artists across various disciplines, collaborative gatherings, professional exchanges, and a public conversation. Together, these activities created a rare space for rigorous dialogue, careful listening, and meaningful exchange between artists and cultural leaders working across different institutional and geographic contexts.
We place great value on the quality of attention and depth of connection that emerged throughout the program. The inaugural edition affirmed the need for intimate, art-professional–centered exchanges within New York’s cultural landscape. It underscored the importance of bringing international perspectives into sustained conversation with local practices. This first edition also clarified Badiyeh Arts’ broader vision for the Exchange Program—one grounded in reciprocity, professional mobility, and long-term relationship building rather than transactional encounters.
This program was made possible through the generous collaboration of Exchange Partner: Triangle Network (London), along with Residency Unlimited Inc., Triangle NYC, Art Omi, and Nunu Fine Art. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and trust, and we extend our sincere thanks to Alessio Antoniolli for his generosity, insight, and openness. We look forward to sharing the next chapter of the Badiyeh Arts Exchange Program soon.
